Our Client an independent Commercial Vehicle Service and Repair business, who has been established within the local area for more than 20 years are currently seeking an HGV Technician to join their friendly team.

 Our Client has a great reputation of being a family run business, and provides a great working environment. They are very established within the Commercial Vehicle sector and are one of the largest independent commercials workshops in the area, with a 15,000 sq. ft. site and the latest equipment!

 They are seeking applicants for HGV Technicians from a variety of backgrounds.

Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:
  • Servicing vehicles carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
  • Advising the Service Reception about required repairs.
  • HGV Inspections
  • Accurately completing job cards
  • Fleet Maintenance
  • Analogue and Digital Tachograph calibrations and repairs
  • Vehicle diagnostics
  • Brake roller testing
  • Servicing, brakes and clutches
  • MOT preparation
  • Air conditioning servicing and repairs
  • ABS and EBS repairs
 What our Client expects of their HGV Technician:
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Have a good attitude to work at all times.
  • Previous working experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Ideally Qualified as an HGV Technician
  • Able to work as a team
  • Able to work on own initiative
