Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Northampton Independent Garage 

My client is a family run independent garage located just outside of Northampton. They have a very strong reputation as one of the best independents in Northamptonshire, they pride themselves on their workshop team with some of the most highly skilled technicians in the area. 
  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DoE)
  • Monday - Thursday 8:00am -  5:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Overtime available. 
  • No weekends worked!
They now have a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician and are looking for someone with a good amount of workshop experience. Ideally you will have experience with one of the following manufacturers: BMW, Mercedes, VWG or JLR. (Not essential)

Responsibilities of this Service Technician role
  • Completing all repairs related to Vehicle Servicing, including cambelts. 
  • Pre-MOT inspection, minor diagnostics.
  • Inspect vehicles for wear and tear/general faults.
  • Complete work to DVSA standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
The ideal Service Technician will have
  • Level 2 qualification or the equivalent level of skill
  • Experience in of working in a main dealer or independent garage
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own set of tools
  • Previous experience working in a garage or main dealer
  • MOT License desired but not essential
