HGV Technician, required in Croydon, Surrey for Late Shift
  • Pay: Basic Salary £40,040 - £48,620 per year depending on experience + Bonus + Overtime 
  • Automotive Business: Commercial Vehicle Main Dealer
  • Hours: Monday to Friday; Late shift 2pm - 11pm 
Our Client a Commercial Vehicle Dealership Group with sites across the Southeast of England are currently seeking an HGV Technician join their friendly team for their late shift. Our client has a great reputation of being a family friendly business and provides a great working environment. They are very established within the Commercial Vehicle sector and benefits from strong manufacturer support.

Our client has a strong reputation within the commercial vehicle market and great reputation within the local area. They have a large a successful Service, Parts & Sales operation and our looking to expand their team to keep up with demand.

Duties of an HGV Technician with our Client:
  • Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are received in line with customer's terms
  • Reconciling invoices paid and dispatching monthly statements
  • Following up on non-payment and pursuing debts
  • Liaising with customers to ensure their accounts are accurate and up to date
  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Reconciling and paying supplier statements
  • Following up on outstanding invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure their accounts are up to date
What our client expects of their HGV Technician
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced HGV technician with the ability to inspect, and repair vehicles appropriately.
  • Full clean Driving licence
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and develop.
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Happy to work late shifts 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to learning and development
