- Pay: £27,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience and skills
- Hours: 8.30 - 6pm + 1 hour lunch - Monday - Friday only!
They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. The ideal Vehicle Technician will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail. A Tech Tester background is ideal but not essential, and experience with various diagnostic tools is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
- Undertake a wide range of automotive repair and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cambelt replacements, clutch repairs, brake servicing, and diagnostics.
- Work closely with their team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment such as Bosch KTS and Autel handheld tablets for accurate troubleshooting and diagnosis.
- Perform MOT inspections once their MOT ramp is installed (desirable but not essential).
- Proficient in all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of makes and models.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload.
- Competitive salary, open to negotiation based on experience and skills (£27,000 - £40,000 DOE).
