Vehicle Technician Required for Family Run Car Garage in Grayshott, Surrey 
  • Pay: £27,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience and skills 
  • Hours: 8.30 - 6pm + 1 hour lunch - Monday - Friday only! 
Our client a family run independent service centre , who pride themselves on providing top-quality automotive services in Grayshott, Surrey and surrounding area. As a small, close-knit team, they prioritise excellence in every aspect of automotive repair work. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, our clients dedication to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction sets them apart from others in the area.

They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. The ideal Vehicle Technician will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail. A Tech Tester background is ideal but not essential, and experience with various diagnostic tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Undertake a wide range of automotive repair and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cambelt replacements, clutch repairs, brake servicing, and diagnostics.
  • Work closely with their team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment such as Bosch KTS and Autel handheld tablets for accurate troubleshooting and diagnosis.
  • Perform MOT inspections once their MOT ramp is installed (desirable but not essential).
Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician applicant:
  • Proficient in all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of makes and models.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload.
