Our client, a franchise approved car dealership situated in the Devizes region, are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. 

Reporting to the Service Manager and working with a friendly service reception team, you will need to be a confident relationship builder, be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a first class service, also achieving the company objectives and targets. You will greet customers in to the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed. 

Do you need previous Vehicle Service Advisor experience? In short, no!

Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar Service Advisor role within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous however our client is very open to considering Service Advisor candidates from outside the motor trade with a strong track record in customer service, a UK driving licence with minimal points and an interest in starting a new career in the motor trade. Overall you will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills along with IT literacy (any experience with Pinewood Pinnacle preferable) would be of high priority.
