Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customer’s vehicles to ministry standards. You shall also diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work as well as providing overall workshop support as and when required.
In order to be eligible you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Wells and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester either from experience gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly and approachable manner given you shall occasionally assist on the front reception desk with customer enquiries and be able to produce high quality work within specified time frames. An MOT licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points is essential to our client at this stage.
