Our client, one of the UK's largest car dealer groups specialising solely in premium branded cars, are currently looking to hire a Vehicle Service Advisor for their busy franchise approved dealership in Bath.

Reporting to the Service Manager and alongside a team of three/four other Vehicle Service Advisors, you will be responsible for providing a pro-active service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles in for MOT's, servicing, maintenance, or repair work and arranging where necessary a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers into the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, carry out upselling of additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress on their vehicle amongst other ad-hoc responsibilities.

The successful candidate would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills along with IT literacy would be of high priority. Experience with the dealer management system Kerridge/Keyloop would be preferable but isn't essential. Experience working as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar automotive orientated customer service role would be essential to our client at this stage alongside a reasonable technical knowledge of vehicles and having a full clean UK driving license with minimal points.
