- Position: HGV Workshop Controller
- Location: Dunstable
- Basic Salary: Up to £45,000
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm
- Overtime Available

Workshop Controls is the first step a Technician can take towards a Workshop or Site Manager role. If you're looking to do this in the long-term, this role is ideal for you.
Workshop Controller Responsibilities:
- Plan, control, and deliver overall workshop performance.
- Act as the interface between the workshop and the customer, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Manage, lead, and organise the workshop team and resources.
- Identify training needs for the workshop team in coordination with the line manager.
- Ensure all company and manufacturer processes, standards, and legal obligations are met.
- Participate in meetings to review pre-planned work, ensuring consistent workloads.
- Experience within the automotive industry, preferably HGV related.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
- Strong customer contact and supplier management skills.
- Technical knowledge from a relevant qualification or experience.
- Understanding of compliance associated with Heavy Goods Vehicles.
