Vehicle Technician needed in York
  • Basic Salary up to £37,000
  • OTE up to £45,000
  • Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00, 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid as overtime

Our client, a regional dealership group, is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their team in York. As it's at a busy site within a wider group, this role comes with great job security and plenty of opportunity to make bonus.

Responsibilities of this Vehicle Technician role
  • Repair and service vehicles
  • Complete diagnostic checks
  • Inspect vehicles for wear and tear/general faults
  • Complete work to DVSA standards
  • Provide excellent customer service
The ideal Vehicle Technician will have
  • Level 3 qualification required, or an equivalent experience level
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own set of tools
  • Previous experience working in a garage or main dealer
  • The ability to work to a high standard whilst operating at an efficient level
The successful Vehicle Technician will get
  • Basic salary: up to £37,000 depending on experience
  • OTE: £45,000
  • 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • A stable, secure position in a local organisation with great job security and a friendly work environment
