  • Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus 
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday only

Our client is a highly respected independent garage in the Kettering area with over 30 years experience in the motor trade. They are on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop, priding themselves on their team with some of the most highly skilled technicians in the area. 

The reason for this Vehicle Technician vacancy is an expansion, they've recently installed an extra ramp on site. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an employer that invests in their team and gives them the opportunity to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, focusing on safety and compliance.
  • Work on a full range of service repairs. 
  • Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded
  • Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes
Required Skills and Experience for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, open to time-served candidates without qualifications. 
  • Experience of inspection, repairing and servicing motor vehicles
  • Ability to work on clutches and cambelts 
  • Full UK Driving License
