The ideal Parts Advisor will have two years minimum automotive parts experience, preferably from a retail dealership front and back counter environment or a trade parts centre. Our client will be happy to consider other parts advisors from other departments of the Automotive industry.
Our client works directly with manufacturers and trade accounts. Our client's focus is accident repair parts, and the ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of the fast-paced accident repair sector.
Within this Parts Advisor role, your typical duties will include:
- Answering customer calls and responding to inquiries related to vehicle parts availability, compatibility, and pricing.
- Providing technical support to customers to help them identify the correct part for their vehicle or equipment.
- Interpreting technical specifications and diagrams to assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts.
- Creating and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including orders, inquiries, and complaints.
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure that parts are available and delivered in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the processing of orders, including verifying part numbers and pricing, and ensuring that orders are accurate and complete.
- Troubleshooting problems related to parts orders and working with customers to resolve issues.
- Providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best service possible.
