Our client, a specialist vehicle manufacturer, are looking for a Workshop Controller to oversee the production of vehicles at their workshop in York.

This is a specialist role so applicants must have experience of vehicle building, from motorsport, classic car restoration or something else.

Relocation packages are available to help you make the move to York.

The successful Workshop Controller will
  • Lead a team of fitters to dismantle and rebuild vehicles
  • Plan the distribution of work
  • Get on the tools to assist in the process when necessary
  • Help to build up the workshop as the company grows
To be considered for this Workshop Controller role you must have
  • Experience building vehicles - it can be from motorsport, classic car restoration or something else
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Experience running a workshop desirable but not essential
  • Level 3 qualification desirable
