- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems or safety concerns
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each repair or maintenance task
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to aid in repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Welding and fabrication skills are highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- HGV Class 2 Licence (desirable)
- Forklift experience (desirable)
- Ability to commute to Cranbrook (required)
- Ability to relocate to Cranbrook before starting work (required)
