  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Northampton
  • Company: Fast-Fit Centre 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £34,000 + Bonus
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Occasional Saturday Mornings

Our client, a well established Fast Fit group, is seeking to employ a Technician to work within their busy yet friendly site in Northampton, to ensure that the work is carried out to the company's high standards.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Conduct oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid level checks according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults and determine necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Repair or replace brakes, suspension systems, exhausts, and engines with new or refurbished parts as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure vehicles meet safety and environmental standards.
  • Communicate diagnostic results and recommended repairs to customers, providing accurate cost estimates and timeframes.
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Technicians:
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair 
  • Have a good attitude to work at all times.
  • Motivated with a desire to enhance their knowledge.
  • Maintaining the workshop to a high standard.
  • Ensuring adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the Workshop.
