  • Basic Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience!
  • Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5.30pm 
  • Saturday Morning Rota

Our Client, a long-established Independent Garage based in the Ashford area of Kent are looking for a vehicle technician to join their experienced team.

They are seeking individuals who want to be part of a special team for the long-haul and help ensure that the business offers a stable environment for staff and customers alike. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that holds a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent (time served considered) to progress to the next stage of their career!

Duties of a Technician with our Client
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints.
  • Carry out diagnosis and undertake a wide range of servicing and repair work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of the vehicles.
  • Builds effective working relationships with colleagues.
  • Completes repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager require.
  • Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
  • Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed.

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.

  • Efficiency and timeliness.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Organisational skills, and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the motor trade.
  • Good team player.
  • Full UK driving licence
