  • Franchised Volume Main Dealership 
  • £38,000 Basic Salary (Negotiable Depending On Experience) + Bonus
  • Monday to Friday 8:15am - 5:15pm 
  • 1/4 Saturday Mornings 
  • Well-Established Main Dealership
Our Client is a Franchised Volume Main Dealership. They are seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop as they have a spare ramp going and lots of work to fill it!

In this important role in their automotive service departments you will be fully competent in the servicing, diagnosis and repair of vehicles, to the highest manufacturer standards.

The staff are excellent to work and throughout the day you’ll be kept busy, ensuring you’ll enjoy your working day and morale levels are high!

Duties and Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Accurately and skillfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.
  • Accurately diagnose problems and ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the Company, manufacturer and industry guidelines.
  • Record materials used and time spent on repairs
  • Road test vehicles to check repair work
  • Pick and deliver vehicles to be repaired by external specialists.
Experience & Qualifications Required for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair is essential
  • Minimum 2 years automotive industry experience post apprenticeship.
  • Main Dealer experience is advantageous but not essential 
  • MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations
  • Full Driving Licence

  • £34,000 basic salary that can be increased for a Senior/Diagnostic/Master technician 
  • £40,000 OTE - Productivity based bonus
