Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside a service reception team, as an Aftersales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of providing a professional service to customers while their vehicles are with our client, tracking progress through their workshops, and liaising with colleagues within the workshop and parts departments. You will offer customers additional work requirements and costs, schedule, and record work, and maintain an efficient and courteous manner throughout. You will also provide exceptional administrative support to the aftersales team by assisting with file auditing, booking services, preparing orders, and invoicing. Additionally, you will inspire and excite customers with in-depth product information and insight, promoting and connecting customer cars to the latest apps, keeping them updated with product information, and building a genuine rapport.
The successful Aftersales Advisor candidate would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills along with being IT literate, particularly with the latest technology, would be of high priority. Previous experience in the motor trade would be desirable for our client however they have said they're willing to consider candidates outside the industry provided they have a full clean UK driving license with minimal points and a strong track record in a similar customer service orientated role alongside the IT literacy.
