Automotive Technical Advisor in Bicester.
  • Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum (commensurate with skills/experience). 
  • 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with an hour lunch.

Due to continued business expansion our client, a UK-based specialist manufacturer of low volume, high quality, speedster cars, are currently looking to recruit a Technical Advisor for their head office in Bicester on a full-time permanent basis. 

Reporting the Business Owners and working as part of a friendly team, your responsibilities as a Technical Advisor will include: 
  • Handling incoming calls and email enquiries regarding automotive parts, sales processing and technical enquiries.
  • Managing dealer orders.
  • Compiling FAQ responses for inclusion on our client's website.
  • Managing the relationship with our client's car owners club forum.
  • Service department support and administration.
In to be eligible you will have strong working experience with automotive parts and have extensive knowledge of car components: names; descriptions; uses; alternatives. Familiarity with the motorsport/niche/kit/classic car market place and parts purchasing experience would be highly desirable.

Overall, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven organisational and administrative skills, particularly with attention to detail, and have flexibility and adaptability to pro-actively manage a range of different projects and jobs at the same time. You will be IT literate and have competency with MS software packages and experience of ERP/CRM systems given you will be helping run a inventory management system.
