MOT Tester required in South Oxford.
  • Starting salary up to £32,000 per annum plus bonuses with £37-42,000+ uncapped annual earning potential. 
  • 48 hour week Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm. 
  • Up to 44 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays). 
Our client, a widely-recognised automotive service centre group with 40 locations nationwide, is currently looking to recruit an MOT Tester for their South Oxford site. 

Reporting to the Autocentre Manager and working  as part of a large friendly team, your key responsibilities as an MOT Tester will include:
  • Conduct MOT's in line with DVSA guidelines and to adhere to our client's policies.
  • Ensure all MOT's are carried out in line with DVSA guidelines to ensure full compliance.
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
In order to be eligible you will need to hold an active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence and a UK driving license with minimal points. You will ideally be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair however our client is also interested in candidate that are time served in their experience of vehicle mechanics provided they have an active MOT licence. Overall you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
