LCV Technician / Mechanic Required in Croydon
  • £35,000 - £42,000 (Depending on experience) + Individual bonus £500 - £1,500 per month

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced LCV Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established, family-run car dealership in Croydon. Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to help maintain their excellent standards of service and contribute to the ongoing success of their business.
 
Key Responsibilities of a LCV Technician with our client:
  • Carry out routine servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to the highest standards.
  • Conduct diagnostics and fault finding using the latest tools and equipment.
  • Perform MOT testing and prepare vehicles for inspection, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards.
  • Work on a wide range of LCVs, from small vans to larger commercial vehicles.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers and junior staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work completed and ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the workshop team to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the required standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Assist with road testing vehicles and providing accurate feedback on vehicle performance and potential issues.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the workshop.
What Our Client is looking For:
  • Proven experience as an LCV Technician or passenger vehicle mechanic within a busy workshop environment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work on a wide range of vehicles.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.
  • Qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance (preferred).
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Ideally, candidates will live locally in the Croydon area or be able to commute comfortably.
