Our client is an independent garage with an excellent reputation with Eastbourne and surrounding areas, are currently seeking a senior vehicle technician to assist with the added workload at the site and to aid with the development of junior technicians!

Our client is seeking applications from Candidates with a ‘can do attitude’ and an understanding of how to deliver a great service on the highest scale. Our client has a high-tech workshop, which is clean and well organised.

You will ideally have skills including, but not limited to, vehicle repair and maintenance, diagnostics and experience with electronics. The applicant will also be required to work at a high standard whilst under pressure within a busy motor trade industry.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • Working in accordance with company processes
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Technicians:
  • NVQ Level 3 - Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • MOT Testing license preferable but not essentials
  • Strong Customer Service
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
