Our Client an independent garage with an excellent reputation with Eastbourne and surrounding areas, are currently seeking an MOT Tester.

They are a 5 Star Facebook, 4.5 Star Google rated and 8.5/10 rated garage on checkatrade. They provide a family friendly working atmosphere with a small, accommodating team. They pride themselves on their level of customer care and have a genuine passion for what they do.

Our Client is seeking applications from Candidates with a ‘Can do attitude’ and an understanding of how to deliver a great service on the highest scale. Our Client has a high-tech workshop, which is clean and well organised.

You will have skills in all aspects of vehicle repairs and strong servicing skills including, but not limited to, diagnostics and electronics. The applicant will also be required to work at a high standard whilst under pressure within a busy motor trade industry.

Duties of a MOT Tester with our Client
  • Carrying out MOT Test in line with VOSA standards
  • Occasionally undertake services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • Working in accordance with company processes
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others
What our Client expects of their Technicians
  • An MOT Testing Licence
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
  • Strong Customer Service
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
