Our client, a nationwide dealership group, is looking for a Prep Technician to join their team in Macclesfield. As it's a large group this role comes with great job security and opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities of this Prep Technician role
  • Repair and service vehicles
  • Complete diagnostic checks
  • Inspect vehicles for wear and tear/general faults
  • Complete work to DVSA standards
  • Provide excellent customer service
Our Client is offering the successful Prep Technician:
  • Up to £30,000 Basic Salary
  • Plus excellent Bonus
  • 40 hours per week: Monday To Friday, plus optional Saturday mornings on a rota (Paid as Overtime)

Duties of a Vehicle Preparation Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out Service Checks
  • Repair work
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical diagnostics
  • Undertaking Vehicle Road Tests
  • Carry out other duties as requested
To be considered for this Technician role, you must be:
  • Qualified Light Vehicle Technician or equivalent Level 2 and above
  • Confident and capable of carrying out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair 
  • Offer support and help to your colleagues 
  • Full UK Driving Licence
