Our client, a successful Automotive Business, are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in Castleford. As it's a big group this role comes with excellent job security and opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities of this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Carry out general servicing of vehicles.
  • Complete air conditioning services as and when required.
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles.
  • Undertake road and ramp testing.
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition.
  • Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed.
The ideal Vehicle Technician will have:
  • Level 2/3 qualification would be beneficial
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence is essential 
  • Own set of tools
  • Experienced with diagnostics
The successful Vehicle Technician will get:
  • Basic salary: up to £33,000 DOE OTE c £36,200
