- Location: Shrewsbury
- Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week
- Holidays: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
Key Responsibilities as a Automotive Technical Trainer:
- Deliver training on the automotive Apprenticeship Standard, including skills, knowledge, and behavioural components.
- Coordinate off-the-job and on-the-job training with colleagues and managers.
- Develop and update training materials and courses.
- Ensure efficient use of resources with a focus on environmental sustainability.
- Conduct timely assessments of apprentices' practical and theoretical work.
- Provide constructive feedback to apprentices, helping them to improve.
- Collaborate with the Learner Support Department to integrate maths and English into technical training.
- Mentor apprentices, supporting their personal development and helping them reach their potential.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with apprenticeship programme requirements.
- Appropriate level of occupational competence.
- Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- Full UK Driving License.
- First Aid at Work Qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
