My client, a highly respected, family run, commercial vehicle specialist, are seeking a HGV Technician to join their team in Huddersfield. They're an excellent provider of training and will always strive to further your qualifications so that you can maximise your earning potential and workshop efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate technician looking to make a positive impact.

What will the successful HGV Technician do?
  • Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Complete job cards and service sheets accurately.
  • Display excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
The successful HGV Technician will have:
  • A Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ).
  • HGV Class 1 license preferred.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • Significant workshop experience.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • A can do attitude.
  • Confidence working with hydraulic/pneumatic equipment desirable.
  • An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
The successful HGV Technician will get:
  • Basic salary of up to £39,780.
