Vehicle Technician- Independent Family Run Garage with an excellent reputation
  • Basic Salary- Up to £40,000.00
  • Company Bonus
  • Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30 with every third Saturday 8:30-12:30.

Due to an expansion in this well established family business an opportunity has arisen for a workshop technician to join our friendly team. Our Client is a superb used car showroom specialising in high end and prestige cars with a personal touch when it comes to sales and staffing.

The ideal candidate will be both familiar and competent with working on complex modern vehicle electrical systems and technologies. MOT tester preferred

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Performing diagnostic tests and identifying faults in vehicles
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine work
  • Completing work to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Using diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose vehicle problems
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationship
Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in vehicle mechanics or proven equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of a similar position
  • Full UK Clean Driving License (preferably clean)
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
  • The ability to work as part of a strong and well-established team
