We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Client in the Southampton area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and supportive team, working with cutting-edge automotive technology.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. From routine servicing to more complex mechanical and electrical repairs, your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

The successful Vehicle Technician will ideally have experience within the motor trade, preferably in a main dealership or high-end independent garage. You will need to be detail-oriented, a team player, and committed to delivering quality work every time.

The ideal Vehicle Technician candidate will be confident, well-organized, and proactive in keeping up with the latest automotive technologies and standards.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults and make accurate repairs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.
  • Ensuring the workshop operates smoothly, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround and customer satisfaction.
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a main dealership or prestige workshop.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to work on modern vehicle systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
  • A strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • A proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Preferably Clean.
