Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester required in Cambridge
  • Up to £43,000  Basic Salary PLUS bonus (dependent on experience) 
  • Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm NO WEEKENDS. 
  • Saturdays avaliable to be worked, 1.5x pay. No Saturday rota - technicians choice. 
  • Flexible working around family life, and school drop off - 40hrs per week! Possibility to do earlier / later shift patterns! 
Our client, a family run Independent garage in the Cambridge area is currently looking to hire a fully qualified, experienced and professional Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for their busy Automotive Service Department.

Duties as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturer and our client. Vehicle Technicians need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed. As a Vehicle Technician you will need to ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by our client and manufacturer are adhered to at all times. 

Applicant Specification for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role: 

You will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician and hold at least 2 years experience post-apprenticeship. You will need hold a driving license, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team. Applicants with an MOT license is advantageous to our client.
