HGV Technician Needed in Whitchurch
  • Basic Salary: Up to £20 per hour, depending on experience
  • Working Hours: Week 1: 6am - 2:30pm, Week 2: 1:30pm - 10pm

Responsibilities and Duties as an HGV Technician:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standards, ensuring top-quality work.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
  • Attend to disabled vehicles at the roadside or customer premises.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the workshop.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and liaise with the parts department.
What's required from you as an HGV Technician:
  • Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Strong customer service skills and a team player mentality.
  • Experience in a commercial workshop environment is essential.
  • HGV and PSV licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and produce high-quality work in a busy environment.
