Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Loughborough Main Dealer 
  • Basic Salary: £28,000
  • OTE: £35,000 + Annual Bonus
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm 
  • No Weekends
  • Overtime available

My client is a thriving automotive dealership in Loughborough who are dedicated to delivering unparalleled service. We are on the lookout for highly skilled  Technicians to strengthen their workshop's team.

As a Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring peak performance for customers' vehicles. Your role involves diagnosing intricate mechanical and electronic issues using state-of-the-art tools. We need your expertise, problem-solving skills, and passion for delivering exceptional service.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintenance and repairs on cars. 
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the service team, providing timely and efficient solutions to customer concerns.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, attending relevant training sessions.
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing your knowledge to enhance the team's skills.
  • Maintain meticulous records of repairs, parts used, and labour time to ensure streamlined workflow and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service.
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance. 
  • Proven experience as a Technician in an automotive dealership.
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems, including electronic and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in utilising diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff members/customers. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driving license and a clean driving record.
