The Main Duties for this Vehicle Technician include:
- Perform a mix of service and repair technical work.
- Carry out all maintenance services as per the manufacturer's instructions and maintenance schedule.
- Conduct visual inspections, adjustments, fluid changes, and equipment replacements.
- Repair and service vehicles booked into the workshop.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Investigate and diagnose faults, reporting findings to the Workshop Controller/Foreman.
- Liaise with Service Advisors regarding work performed and communicate details to customers as needed.
- Ensure all servicing and repairs meet high standards and are completed efficiently, in line with Customer Handling Standards.
- Maintain thorough and current product knowledge.
- Provide exceptionally high customer service to foster loyalty and referrals.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently
- Ideally, a Level 3 qualification or equivalent
