Our automotive client based in the Basildon area, is currently looking to hire a Service Advisor for their busy Main Car Dealership. As a business they support a highly sought after volume franchised within the motor trade and will always look to promote from within where possible for staff who show promise, dedication and ability so when the time is right here your career will progress!

Details & Benefits of this Service Advisor vacancy:
  • Company: Franchise/Main Car Dealer.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-6.00pm.
  • Saturdays are worked on a rota basis 8.00am-1.00pm.
  • Basic Salary: up to £26,000 p.a. (depending on experience).
  • Bonus is around £6,000 p.a. on average on top of the basic salary.
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
  • Required: UK Right to Work & Full UK Driving Licence.
The ideal candidate will have come from a Main Car Dealer background working front of house in the service department however, they are also willing to consider applicants that are wanting to start a career within the motor trade that have a passion for all things cars and delivering great customer service!

To be successful in this Service Advisor role you need to be comfortable dealing with:
  • All aspects of an Automotive Service Advisor role.
  • Welcoming the customers into the Service Centre.
  • Putting the job cards together.
  • Keeping the customers informed good news or bad.
  • Upsell, warranty, invoicing.
  • Dealing with queries over the phone and via the internet.
