As a Diagnostic Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards. You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical work, with a focus on diagnostics.
Responsibilities of a vehicle technician:
- Conduct thorough and mechanical repairs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing on a wide range of vehicles.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately pinpoint faults and provide the most effective repair solutions.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer service.
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
- Strong ability to perform both electrical and mechanical work, as well as diagnostics.
- MOT Tester qualification is preferable, but not essential – the client is happy to support you in obtaining this qualification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive basic salary of £36,000, with an OTE of £41,000.
