MET Technician Required in Oxted, Surrey
  • Basic Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
  • Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Saturdays: Optional Overtime

Our Client is a well-established, Insurance-approved Vehicle Accident Repair Centre with an excellent reputation in the local area for delivering high-quality work. They specialise in non-fault accident repairs and regularly handle prestige vehicles and restoration projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving part of their accident repair business, working in a fully equipped workshop that is regularly updated with the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities of a MET Technician: 
  • Stripping and refitting mechanical and electrical components from vehicles involved in road traffic accidents.
  • Diagnosing faults and ensuring that all mechanical and electrical components are working effectively.
  • Performing vehicle alignments, calibrations, and resetting warning lights following repairs.
  • Working closely with the bodyshop team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and keeping pace with the latest technologies.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
What Our Client is Looking For in their MET Technician:
  • An eye for detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage workload efficiently.
  • Recognised qualification in MET or Accident Repair/Bodyshop, or equivalent time-served experience.
  • Previous experience working in an MET Technician role within a busy bodyshop or accident repair environment.
  • Ability to complete mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
