Our client, a Prestige Main Dealer in the Ashford area of Kent, are looking for a Service Advisor to join their dealership. 

As a Service Advisor for our client, you will be responsible for delivering high quality customer service, both in-person and over the phone. You will be responsible for: booking in appointments, providing customers with updates on their vehicles, and liaising with the workshop. As this is a smaller dealership, this is a real chance to make the role your own and create your own processes for the dealership. 

The ideal candidate will be confident in the role and be able to offer their clientele the high end experience they have come to expect.

Duties of a Service Advisor with our Client: 
  • Meeting and greeting customers.
  • Provide customers with information and advice on repairs, explaining the repair estimate with the customer & ensuring customer agrees to all work.
  • Call customers to advise them about service changes or car pick-up times.
  • Answer questions about service outcomes, schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-off and vehicle pick-up.
  • Filing paperwork, ensuring all invoices are accurate.
  • Taking Payment for agreed repair.
  • Assist Manager with the branch’s workflow and schedule.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships to always ensure repeat business and brand protection.
What our client expects of their Service Advisors: 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software is helpful e.g. CDK/Pinnacle/Kerridge
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
  • Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organisational skills and work well under pressure.
  • Good team player.
  • You will hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
