Vehicle Technician Required in Wimbledon, London
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm + Saturday mornings on a rota 
  • Basic Salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience) + Holiday + Pension
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
Are you a Vehicle Technician from an independent background looking for a fun and vibrant workshop? 
 
Our independent client based in Wimbledon provides a wide range of services to their customers. They are BOSCH and RAC affiliated and are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team.
 
In this role, you will be a hands-on Technician, dealing with what’s considered the larger/heavier jobs within an automotive workshop.
 
You will need to have a professional track record / be competent at:
  • Your primary goal will be to complete allocate work in the time given
  • Repairing cylinder heads and gaskets
  • Replacing complex cambelts
  • Removing gearboxes
  • Changing clutches
As well as the above there will be other tasks to complete such as servicing, general repairs, brakes, suspension etc. however the points listed above will be your main duties.
 
They are looking for a Technician who has an independent garage background working on many different makes and models as this is the type of work that comes through their doors…every day is interesting!
