They have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join their company as a Technical / Warranty Team Manager. The role will be to manage, develop, guide and coach a team of Technical / Warranty Claims Advisors to ensure they are proactive, positive, versatile and adaptable to quickly changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities of this Technical / Warranty Team Manager role include:
- Ensure Schemes contractual SLA’s are continually reviewed and met with optimum levels of quality and service delivery.
- Ensure appropriate reporting on SLA and staff maintaining consistency and relevance.
- Establishing and maintaining quality standards through call listening, feedback, training and performance management on a monthly basis.
- Ensure warranty claims are assessed in accordance with coverage and Scheme expectations, completing regular audits.
- Monitoring warranty claim spend where required, implementing corrective actions.
- Ensuring staff have the relevant knowledge and training to assist with all types of customer service and warranty enquiries.
- 1-2-1’s are completed within the company guidelines including any absence and performance issues.
- Dealing with referrals, escalated customer complaint forms and Manager call backs.
- Week Hours Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm.
- 1 in 3 Saturdays worked 9.00am to 1.00pm.
- Salary circa £34,000 p.a.
- 20 days annual leave increasing with length of service (plus Bank Holidays).

- A professional track record within automotive industry preferably a technical or warranty background along with supervisory/managerial experience.
- An ability to excel in getting the best out of your team members, through strong hands-on coaching and performance management.
- Highly customer and delivery focused, thriving on working within a target driven environment implementing performance improvements through innovative ideas.
- Ensure effective and consistent communication throughout the team, keeping things simple.
- Ensure the companies processes and procedures are followed and adhered too by the team.
