Day-to-Day Responsibilities as a Service Advisor:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner. Handle inquiries regarding service appointments, vehicle issues, and repair estimates.
  • Appointment Coordination: Schedule service and repair appointments efficiently to maximise workshop productivity, ensuring minimal wait times for customers.
  • Vehicle Check-In: Oversee vehicle check-in, inspect vehicles, and record any specific customer concerns to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
  • Workshop Liaison: Communicate customer requests and repair details to the workshop team, ensuring they have the information needed to provide excellent service.
  • Updates & Upselling: Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles, suggest necessary or recommended additional services, and obtain customer approval for any extra work.
  • Administration: Prepare repair orders, maintain accurate service records, process warranties, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Upon vehicle pickup, review completed work with the customer to ensure satisfaction, answer any questions, and manage post-service follow-ups to maintain strong customer relationships.
We are looking for a Service Advisor passionate about customer service and automotive care. You should ideally live in or near Crawley, West Sussex, or be able to commute to the area. Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or garage environment is essential, as well as a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and organisational skills.
