Reporting to the Business Owner and working alongside a service reception team, your key responsibilities as a Workshop Manager will include:
- Managing a team of 4/5 Vehicle Technicians and their schedules.
- Assisting in the workshop in a Vehicle Technician's absence or if there's a complex technical issue with a vehicle.
- Monitor the workshop and keep customers informed of their vehicle's progress.
- Sourcing and supply parts.
- Competition of all relevant paperwork including returns/credits and MOT administration.
- Covering the service reception desk in a Service Advisor's absence.
- Going through work to be carried out on customers' vehicles and pricing the work accordingly.
- Other general ad-hoc duties when required.
