Vehicle Prep/PDI Technician required in Chepstow

Our client, a large multi-franchise car dealer group established across South Wales and South West England is currently looking to recruit 8 PDI/Prep Vehicle Technicians for their Head Office in Chepstow following a new shift pattern being implemented as a result of business expansion!

Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working with a large team, as a Prep/PDI Vehicle Technician you shall be involved in the preparation of new and used vehicles from the point of arrival at the workshop until delivery to the customer ensuring all requirements are met and all paperwork is completed to a high standard. This will involve carrying out quality checks to brand standards, visually inspecting vehicle exteriors and interiors, completing any associated repair work, reporting all defects to factory-ordered options on new vehicles, and completing any associated paperwork before delivery to customers.

To be eligible you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Chepstow and will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum and ideally hold at least one to two years of practical workshop experience post qualification. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
