  • Automotive Panel Technician required for Accident Repair Centre in Walton on Thames, Surrey. 
  • Monday - Friday only
  • Pay: £ 50,000 - £62,400 Basic DOE + Bonus

Our Client is an Automotive Crash Repair Business in Walton on Thames, Surrey is looking for an experienced Panel Technician to join their team and take on Panel and Jig Work for their expanding Bodyshop team. This vacancy has come about due to increased workload within the business. 

The ideal Panel Technician will live within the Walton on Thames, Surrey area, or within a sensible commute. 

You will be responsible for all Panel Work such as planishing, metalworking such as welding, putty filling and posses professional Bodywork and frame repair skills. 

As a Panel Beater your day to day duties will include: 
  • Disassembly; removal of damaged parts 
  • Straightening and aligning - using specialist tools to straighten and align the vehicles frame or body panels
  • Welding & Fabrication to repair or replace crash damaged sections of the vehicle
  • Panel Replacement
  • Body Filling and Sanding / Priming  
  • Quality control inspecting the repairs to ensure they meet customer standards and expectations 
  • Willing to develop skillset further - manufacturer training and in house knowledge sharing 
  • Team player; our client has a great workshop team and looking for somebody personable and fun 
  • A Valid UK Drivers License 
Previous driving experience within an Automotive Crash Repair Centre would be advantageous but not essential. What is essential for our client is enthusiasm and willingness to be a helpful member of the workshop team. 

Working hours as an Panel Technician / Beater are Monday to Friday only! Flexible start and finish times - 50 hours per week with optional overtime; if wanted by the successful Panel Beater. 

Our Client is offering a competitive hourly rate depending on knowledge and qualifications with bonus available due to the nature of the job role!
