Parts Manager- Large Independent Used Car Garage in Greater Manchester
  • Basic Salary/OTE: Up to £32,000.00. Salary to be discussed at interview. 
  • Working Pattern: Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30, Saturdays 08:30-12:30 (1 in 2)
  • Annual Leave: 28 days including Bank Holidays.

Our client is one of Greater Manchester's largest used car dealerships selling all makes and models and are ranked in the top 5 UK car supermarkets. Due to a recent growth in the company, they are now looking to add an experienced Parts Manager to their ever-growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent parts knowledge with a variety of brands and previous managerial experience within the parts sector.  

The Successful Parts Manager will have: 
  • Previous experience in a parts manager role would be very desirable. 
  • Excellent parts knowledge with a variety of brands. 
  • Lead and supervise the team in the parts department. 
  • Proactive approach in maintaining customer standards
  • Organisational and Administrational skills. 
  • A full UK driving license.
Duties of the Parts Manager: 
  • To ensure that all customers and internal parts needs are dealt with promptly and courteously responding immediately to requests for parts
  • To be continuously and consistently conscious of customer needs providing at all times the highest level of courtesy and service, and promote customer satisfaction and dealership rating
  • Working within the sales team on sales of product promotions by answering telephone queries and dealing with electronic queries
  • To report any stock damage or stock losses to the manager without delay
  • To ensure that the work area is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and that Health and Safety
