Reporting to the Business Owner and working as part of a small and friendly workshop team, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer's vehicles (predominantly 4x4s) as instructed to the standards laid down by our client. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Business Owner as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are always adhered to.
Do you need to be qualified to be eligible? In short, no!
An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be highly desirable however our client is willing to consider candidates time-served in their experience as a Vehicle Technician who have their tool kit and a UK driving licence with minimal points. Overall, you will need to be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated towards doing the best work possible for our client's customers. Any experience with 4x4 vehicles would be advantageous but is non-essential.

- 40 hours per week. Your working hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute paid morning break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Your last 30 minutes of the day every day is paid as overtime.
