- Salary: £45,000- £55,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- Schedule:10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Your choice of shifts: 6:00am - 4:00pm OR 1:00pm - 11pm
- AM and PM shifts available
- Weekend availability as required
Key Responsibilities of a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
- Diagnose and rectify all types of vehicle and trailer faults.
- Attend breakdowns to support vehicles at the roadside or customer premises.
- Ensure health and safety regulations and safe working practices are strictly adhered to.
- Coordinate the workshop’s daily operations, ensuring tasks are efficiently managed and completed to high standards.
- Qualifications & Experience:Level 3 HGV Technician qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HGV maintenance (preferred).
- HGV Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
- Skills:Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership capabilities and the ability to manage workflow effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.
