  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Salary: £65,000 per annum
Our client, a growing Bodyshop Group, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company that values initiative and innovation. As the Finance Controller, you will play a key role in the company's development and be responsible for driving the financial strategy and growth. You will be an integral part of the senior leadership team and report directly to the Financial Director.
 
Key Responsibilities for the Finance Controller:
  • Lead and manage the financial operations of the business, including reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management
  • Manage a team of four finance professionals, ensuring efficient performance and development
  • Collaborate with the FD to drive business growth and strategic initiatives
  • Implement and improve financial controls, processes, and systems across the business
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial forecasting and reporting
  • Support senior leadership in decision-making with insightful financial analysis
  • Play a proactive role in moving the business forward, identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings
What We’re Looking For in the Finance Controller:
  • Qualified Finance professional with senior-level experience
  • Strong industry experience (automotive or related sector preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team effectively
  • Experience with financial forecasting, reporting, and business growth strategy
  • Ability to drive change and improve financial processes across the business
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on results
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
