Purchase Ledger Assistant required in Westbury (6 month full-time contract).
  • Starting salary up to £24,500 per annum.
  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Our client, a franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide, are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant for their busy Westbury head office on a 6 month full-time contract.

Reporting to the Head Office Accounts Manager and working as part of a small friendly accounts/administration team from our client's head office, your key responsibilities will include: 
  • Making supplier payments.
  • Answering supplier phone calls and emails.
  • Processing and scanning daily invoices.
  • Statement reconciliations.
  • Covering Team member roles when required.
  • Dealing with company vehicle penalty charges.
  • Any general ad-hoc duties.
What is our client looking for? You will ideally have proven experience in a similar accounts/administration orientated role and overall have enthusiasm and a dynamic personality and will share our client's energy and passion and contribute to their ongoing success. You will have an excellent attention to detail, be able to stay calm under pressure, prioritise your workload, have the ability to follow instructions/procedures, be IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word and Outlook) and have good communication skills. Previous experience working in the automotive industry/with commercial vehicles or a relevant accountancy qualification would be highly beneficial however this is non-essential.
