Vehicle Parts Advisor required in Cheltenham.
  • Up to £28,925 basic salary pending experience with uncapped over-achievement bonus scheme and overtime earned.
  • 40-hour week Mon-Fri with scheduled with Saturday mornings on a rota.

Our client, a multi-award-winning premium franchise-approved car dealership in the Cheltenham region, requires an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy Parts Department!

Reporting to the Parts Manager and working as part of a large and friendly team, as a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries ensuring that all parts orders are accurately identified, promptly picked and dispatched. You will also carry out parts stock control, supply parts to our client’s Vehicle Technicians in the workshop, and cover delivery runs in the absence of a Parts Delivery Driver.

To be eligible, you will ideally live in the Cheltenham region or within an easily commutable distance of Cheltenham. You will need to hold recent or current vehicle parts experience, ideally working within a franchise-approved automotive dealership, however, our client is also very interested in candidates from a Motor Factor background. You will also need to be IT literate given you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic telephone manner. Experience with the Kerridge/ADP dealer management system would be highly advantageous but is non-essential.

  • “Early/late” shift system. Week 1 you will work 7:00AM-4:00PM Mon to Fri and week 2 you will work 9:00AM-6:00PM Mon to Fri with an hour lunch every day. You are also required to work 1 in 3/4 Saturdays 7:00AM-1:00PM.
