As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you’ll play a crucial part in the repair process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Production Lead, you’ll oversee the assessment and repair estimation of vehicles while collaborating with skilled production teams to achieve the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities as a VDA:
  • Conduct computerised estimates using Audatex.
  • Provide clear communication with customers about repair details and timelines.
  • Compile and manage repair documentation using internal systems.
  • Monitor vehicle progress through the repair process.
  • Liaise with engineers to discuss claim-related issues and negotiate estimates.
  • Perform mobile and drive-by estimates when required.
  • Identify opportunities for non-insurance-related repairs.
  • Maintain and secure allocated equipment while supporting other team members.
What We’re Looking For in a VDA:
  • Proven experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • ATA Accreditation (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage workflows across departments.
  • A valid driving licence.
