Our client, a leading niche classic car restoration specialist, is currently looking to hire an experienced and professional Vehicle Paint Prep Technician to join their busy bodyshop in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager and working as part of a team, as a Vehicle Paint Prep Technician your key objectives will include:
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, priming, masking, and minor filler repairs.
  • Maintain a meticulous workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are clean and organised.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in all tasks.
To be eligible for this role you will have previous experience in a vehicle preparation environment and have your own set of tools. You will have the ability to work independently, use initiative, have strong organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Any experience working with classic or speciality vehicles would be highly desirable but it is not essential. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points.
